Limited Warranty to Original Consumer

1. Warranty Coverage

IAISmart Inc. (“IAISmart”) warrants to the original consumer purchaser that all Emerson Smart branded products shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal household use and service for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase.

This One (1) Year Limited Warranty applies only to purchases made from authorized retailers of IAISmart Inc. and used within the United States. Warranty coverage applies to the original owner and to the original product only and is not transferable.

Please note that warranty terms on items offered for sale by third-party Marketplace sellers may differ from those stated here. To confirm warranty terms on a product offered by a third-party Marketplace seller, please use the “Contact Seller” feature on the seller’s information page and request the item’s warranty details prior to purchase.

This warranty specifically covers:

  • Manufacturing defects: Flaws in how the product was made, including material defects and assembly errors.

  • Faulty components: Problems with critical parts that are a result of the manufacturing process, such as a broken or non-functioning component.

This warranty excludes issues resulting from normal wear and tear.

2. Product Registration Requirement

To activate and validate this warranty, you must register your Emerson Smart product within 30 days of purchase at www.emersonsmart.com/register.

Failure to register your product within the specified timeframe may void warranty coverage. Registration helps confirm your warranty eligibility and ensures faster service if needed.

3. Warranty Service

If an Emerson Smart product fails to conform to this limited warranty during the one-year period, IAISmart will, at its sole discretion:

• Repair the defective product using new or refurbished parts, or

• Replace the product with a new or refurbished unit of equal or greater value, or

• Refund the original purchase price of the product.

4. How to Obtain Warranty Service

To obtain warranty service, please:

  1. Contact IAISmart Customer Support at support@emersonsmart.com or call 888-886-7188.

  2. Provide proof of purchase (original receipt or invoice).

  3. Ensure your product has been registered within 30 days of purchase.

  4. Follow IAISmart’s instructions for the return or service of the product.

Shipping and handling fees may apply. IAISmart will provide guidance regarding any return or replacement process at the time of service.

5. Limitations and Exclusions

This limited warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, accident, improper installation, or unauthorized repair or modification.

  • Normal wear and tear or cosmetic damage.

  • Consumable parts such as batteries, filters, or bulbs, unless otherwise specified.

  • Damage resulting from failure to follow the product’s instruction manual, safety guidelines, or required maintenance.

  • Products purchased or used outside the United States.

This warranty is void if the serial number or product label has been altered, removed, or rendered illegible.

6. Limitation of Liability

IAISmart shall not be liable for any incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of or inability to use an Emerson Smart product, including but not limited to loss of use, data, or revenue, even if IAISmart has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

The total liability of IAISmart for any claim relating to an Emerson Smart product shall not exceed the original purchase price of the product.

This limited warranty constitutes the entire agreement between IAISmart and the original consumer regarding all Emerson Smart branded products, and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous understandings, agreements, or representations, written or oral.
